Meta data deletion

These instructions explain how to disconnect a Meta advertising account from Childcare OS and request deletion of data received through the Meta Marketing API.

Disconnect Meta Ads

  1. Sign in to Childcare OS.
  2. Open Marketing, then Ads Manager.
  3. Open the Meta Ads connection settings and disconnect it.

Disconnecting revokes Childcare OS access for future Meta Ads API requests. You can also remove Childcare OS from your Facebook Business Integrations settings.

Request deletion

To request deletion of Meta access tokens, connected ad-account identifiers, imported campaign metrics, and related integration metadata, email support@childcaremarketing.group. Include your Childcare OS organisation name and the email address used for your account. Do not send passwords or access tokens.

We will verify the request, delete data we control unless retention is legally required, and confirm completion. Deleting data from Childcare OS does not delete campaigns or records held by Meta.

If you remove Childcare OS through Meta, Meta sends us a signed deletion request automatically. We verify that request, remove the matching integration data, and return a confirmation code and a status page to Meta.
